Worked on USAID/ALP-S/Kandahar Orchards Program (KOP) carting out the following activities.• Helped export quality dried and fruits outside the country from Kandahar• Searched for potential buyers in International markets like Dubai, India, Europe, Ukraine and Russia etc.• Linked identified potential international buyers to Afghan exporters in order to develop business deals.• Identified interventions discouraging exports of horticultural products and then worked on solving problem forexport promotion.• Assisted in all marketing aspects of the project defined by the FAF Work Plan submitted to the primary contractor,Chemonics International.

Worked on U.S State Department/Youth Exchange and Study carrying out the following activities.• Administered all activities of YES (Youth Exchange and Study) scholarship program funded by U.S. State Department• Communicated/coordinated with Minister of Education and his deputy to help/support educational programs ofACIE.• Interviewed candidate applied for different vacancies in the office.• Recruited students in all schools in provinces for student selection for the scholarships• Administered and supervised all the process of the student testing and communicate with main office, located in Washington DC, for student selection for the scholarships.• Interviewed student appeared in final round of recruiting process for scholarships.• Helped in getting student passports, US visa process, vaccination before students’ departure and their travel to US.• Helped program alumni to use his/her knowledge voluntarily for serving Afghanistan with different volunteerprojects/activities

Worked on USAID/ALP-S/ Perennial Crop Support Program carrying out the following activities. • Assisted Fresh Fruits Exporters Association of Kandahar (FFEAK) and Dried Fruits Exporters Association of Kandahar (DFEAK) in managing the Customs and transportation-related processes associated with exporting FFEAK and DFEAK products though the Kabul airport and land/sea border crossings into and out of Pakistan.• Trained FFEAK and DFEAK on the procedures associated with exporting agricultural products from Afghanistan, including arranging custom clearance and transportation.• Successfully, Administered export promotion efforts for exporting 1300MT of dried fruits to Russia and 200MT of fresh fruits to India building sustainable business relations between the Afghan exporters and foreign buyers.• Successfully, Administered efforts for DFEAK for opening a door for Afghan dried fruits in Europe through a Dutch trading company in Amsterdam having representative offices in all over the Europe.• Lead business delegations contained on Afghan traders on project sponsored business trips to Holland and India to make some potential business deals happen between Afghan exporters and buyers in International markets for promoting exports

Worked on Perennial Horticulture Development Project (PHDP) carrying out the following activities.• Made surveys to report horticultural activities, production and opportunities for project inputs in project area (Kunduz, Herat, Nangarhar, Balkh, Kabul etc.)• Made recommendation to the project for working on market oriented horticulture in the project area.• Investigated export market potential for fresh and dried fruit produced in project area.• Specified export potential products, quality, specific varieties and process for fruit exports to the project.• Liaised with other organizations and projects working on market studies• Coordinated with relevant project specialists on specifications of export potential products and variety selection for establishing new orchards under project• Advised project clients on product specifications for export markets.• Identified gaps in the home and export markets of fresh and dried fruits that are not met by varieties available among the germplasm available in Afghanistan

Worked on GRAPE/RAMP/USAID carrying out the following activities. • Administered export promotion programs for exporting 1100MT of dried fruits to Russia and 100MT of fresh fruits to India, U.A.E, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Ukraine and Moscow.• Administered efforts for making business relation between Afghan exporters and buyers from India, Dubai, Kuwait, Moscow, Ukraine, and Europe, U.S.A, Sari Lunka, Bangladesh and other countries.• Lead business delegations, including officials from MoC and MoFA and some Afghan traders, to Russia (Moscow), Ukraine and India.• Administered and organized workshops for creating awareness in Afghan farmer’s/ trader’s community and other businesses about the business opportunities in potential international markets for Afghanistan.• Assisted in the identification and possibly procurement of inputs both locally and regionally that could complement the implementation of the products marketing strategy. This included packaging materials, cooling, storage and transport services and facilities.• Served as a spokesman for the GRAPE project’s marketing support activities to relevant Afghan government departments.
