My Master’s Thesis ''Energy Consumption due to Wear in the Mining Industry'' includes a general view to the Global mining industry as well as case studies on the wear of three highly energy consuming devices from the mining industry. Thesis was done in the FIMECC O’DIGS project in co-operation with VTT (Technical Research Centre of Finland), Metso Minerals and Outotec. I also co-operated in writing an article about this topic; The article was published in Tribology International in 05/2017. In June 2016 I presented my thesis results in the Nordtrip conference held in Hämeenlinna.
