About Pirntha Rajini, Rp (Qualifying)

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who provides evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals experiencing acculturation stress, depression, trauma, life transitions, anxiety and substance use concerns. I approach my work through a lens that incorporates feminist ideals, trauma sensitivity, compassion-focused care, and an emotion-focused framework. Drawing from my identity as a woman of colour and through my lived experiences, I hold a unique perspective on trauma. My professional journey spans over six years, during which I have accumulated valuable experience in addressing trauma, substance use, and supporting clients build life skills and working to employ crisis interventions. My goal is to utilize my knowledge to facilitate the healing process for others in ways that resonate best with their individual needs. I firmly believe that healing from trauma is not a universally fit approach, and each individual's path to healing is unique. I embrace the idea that our struggles are multi-dimensional, much like our lives. Guided by this philosophy, I am committed to culturally competent psychotherapy and contributing to the well-being of individuals within and beyond my community. I aspire to be a supportive presence on their journey toward healing and growth.
