My background is in Civil Engineering, and I have been working in this field for almost ten years. My first job was at the concrete laboratory, and I was a supervisor. My second job was in the road and pipe department, and I was a supervisor's assistant. As time passed, my last role before I came to New Zealand was a design manager.Overall, with regard to my previous jobs, I was responsible for structural design, supervising batching plants, and problem-solving. For example, I was in charged of designing pipe sections and strengths. I designed and built two flats, and I supervised a concrete batching plant. I was also involved in various reinforced concrete designs.
