Our pitas were also developed with a special fold, so these tantalizing flavors could be all rolled into one.This "fresh thinking and healthy eating" could now be served up quickly for people on the go. As co-founder in 1995 and co-owner of Canadian-based Pita Pit Ltd., Nelson and his partner owned The Pita Pit in the U.S. from 1999 through 2005, until Pita Pit USA, Inc. acquired The Pita Pit concept for the entire U.S. Since 2005, Nelson has brought his considerable expertise to PPUSA.Brenda Zosel: Financial ControllerBrenda relocated from Minnesota to join the Pita Pit USA team in February 2006. As Financial Controller, she oversees the financial functions of PPUSA as well as all of the Pita Pit corporate and franchise locations across the country. Brenda previously worked at a manufacturing company for seven years after graduating from Metropolitan State University with a BS in Accounting.Paul Erwin: Vice President of AdministrationPaul has served as Vice President of Administration since April 2005. He previously owned and operated a Pita Pit franchise in Santa Barbara, California. Paul graduated with a BFA. from the University of Idaho in 1996.Corey Bowman: Vice President of Franchise DevelopmentCorey has served as Vice President of Franchise Development since April 2005. Prior to joining the PPUSA corporate office, he owned and operated 3 Pita Pit franchises in Eugene, OR, Bellingham, WA, and Seattle, WA.
