As GreenFaith Africa Program Manager, I Lead Africa region in our Organization's Regional Advocacy and Campaign Initiatives and Programs for Climate Justice; Strategic planning, Base-building, Education and Training, Campaigning, Partnership-building and Communication to advance our Mission.I am responsible for strengthening collaboration and grassroots movement building with religious and secular partners, including spiritual leaders, GreenFaith Circles, village elders and opinion holders, youth, women, the media, and other organizations across Africa (Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya and Nigeria).

I. Mapped stakeholders and strengthened capacity for common understanding of Renewable Energy Initiatives (REIs) and the relevance of focusing a just energy transition that is sustainable and people-oriented achieved.II. Building a critical mass of the none-state-actors that will interrogate Renewable Energy (RE) investments against a set of minimum criteria and ensure that RE initiatives are prioritize, decentralized, small-scale RE investments that meet the needs of the people.V. Establish an initiative that could track Nigeria NDC, SDGs implementation and Sustainable Energy for All (Green Bond Initiative and rural electrification)

Co-create, design and production of knowledge module on understanding climate science; climate action and climate justice; strengthening climate justice communication and engagement.Support the development and piloting of climate change awareness and action campaigns training, experiential learning and webinars. Strengthen climate youth champions capacity, mentorship and e-learning sessions on climate change social media advocacy, awareness campaigns and community engagement for policy influencing.

National Paper on the Effective Role of Youths, NGOs and CBOs in Advancing Sustainable Development in Nigeria: inputs from about 15 papers into the leadership dialogues submitted to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Federal Ministry of Environment to support Nigeria progress report on its achievement of the SDGs at the Stockholm +50 meeting in Sweden. In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of United Nations Conference on Environment (UNCE) that was held in Stockholm, Sweden in June 1972.The overall aim of Stockholm+50 is to further contribute to the global effort at accelerating the implementation of the UN Decade of Action to deliver the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including the 2030 Agenda, Paris Agreement on climate change and the post-2020 global Biodiversity Framework, and encourage the adoption of green post-COVID-19 recovery plans through an effective multilateral attack on the planetary crises of climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution and waste, among others. It is also expected to provide leaders with an opportunity to further build on the gains of 50 years of multilateral environmental action toward achieving the urgent action needed to secure a better future on a healthy planet.
