Pius received Honorary Doctor of Finance in 2004 from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China. Pius is currently the Executive Vice President of RealNex, LLC, a commercial real estate solution company. He was the Chief Administrative Officer and Managing Director - Americas of the ARGUS Software, Inc. from 2006 to 2013 and is the President of SPAK Interests, Inc. since 1991 providing commercial real estate consulting services to investors around the world. Pius is a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member), a CPM (Certified Property Manager), a CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) and a MRICS (Member of Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors). He served as the 39th President of the CCIM Institute in 2005 and the first ever president born outside the United State of America. He also served as the 2017 President of the CCIM Foundation. Pius is a senior faculty member of the CCIM Institute and faculty emeritus of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). He is currently holding the title of visiting professor of the University of International Business and Economic in Beijing, China and Adjunct Professor of the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. He has teaching experience in Czech Republic, Poland, Russia, Japan, Mexico, Korea, China and USA.
