I coordinate and execute numerous annual conferences, board meetings, galas, and trade shows ranging from 10 to 12,000 attendees. I also serve as the main contact for all involved vendors, including hotel/convention center liaisons, sponsors, members/volunteers, trade show decorators, exhibitors and any third party contacts. I am responsible for all aspects of event management and logistics including: site selection, contract negotiation, financial management, onsite execution and project management. With all of this, I have a proven ability to balance daily meetings with multiple activities, tight deadlines, and thrive in a high-pressure environment

In preparation for Super Bowl XLVI, I worked with a team of 35 full-time staff to partner with over 2,000 restaurants and hotels to prepare for over 150,000 guests to Central Indiana. I was in Division 8, Guest Welcome and Super Service. We developed a Hotel Consistent Welcome program, which includes coloring cards for every visitor. I managed this project and planned events to collect of 36,000 cards. Other responsibilities included managing a group of volunteers and interns, overseeing a committee of 30 people planning events in 20 surrounding communities, and maintain the Super Service Social Media account on Twitter.

On game day during the 2011-2011 season I worked with the Colts PR staff to prepare and staff the Colts Press Box for over 100 media. I also worked quickly to deliver quarterly and half-time stats and assembled post-game reports for both home and visiting teams.

Radio Disney Indianapolis travels to various locations throughout the state to provide entertainment and excitment about the Disney brand. I worked with a team to entertain audience members through dancing and interactive games. At each event we distributed various prizes by playing games and asking fans questions. I was also responisible for the complete set up and tear down of event materials.

Snappening is an online service for event planning offering a collection of user-generated opinions and comprehensive planning tools, including planners and venues, and puts them all at user fingertips. With Snappening, event planning is easy and it's fun! It's Event Planning in a Snap! My roles were specifically to develop weekly content for website landing pages with event, venue, and planning information and to incorporating key words to provide maximum results in Google searches.

Hawaiian Islands

During the summer or 2010, I worked at McNeil Wilson Communications in the Travel and Tourism department. I had the opportunity to provided personalized, quality interactions with a variety of clients, including the Hawaii Convention and Visitors Bureau, Marriott, Royal Hawaiian Center, and Hawaiian Airlines. My main project was a promotion plan using social media for the Hawaii CVB. I also helped plan for future events by researching other happenings and trends on the different Hawaiian islands and major U.S. cities. Other responsibilities included coordinating special events such as press conferences, photo shoots, and client meetings.
