As a part of Kangan’s IT and Multimedia Work Experience Program (Pixel8 Community Designs) participants have the opportunity to gain skills in basic IT, administration and multimedia. Self-paced tutorials and workshops are provided to allow the participants to develop skills and knowledge in using software such as the Microsoft Office and Adobe design and multimedia software.The group then utilizes this knowledge to provide a free design and promotional service to Not for Profit Organisations. Pixel8 Community Designs provides promotional designs for print and screen, website development, event photography, video production and social media assistance.Participants in the program are also given assistance with any job search related activities and education pathway advice.Some organisations we have assisted but not limited to:Northern Indigenous Employment Group1.
