Having worked for the business in a freelance capacity for seven months I accepted an offer of a full-time position at Jemena in June 2013. Jemena are an Australian infrastructure company that builds, owns and maintains a combination of major electricity and gas assets across the eastern country. As Graphic & Web Designer for Connexion PR, I was responsible for the design and output of a wide variety of digital and printed material, servicing primarily the marine and industrial sectors. Role responsibilities:- Design of advertising collateral (featured in a wide array of Australian publications) and a broad variety of printed material including point-of-sale displays, media releases, branding, and packaging designs- Managing the design and ongoing maintenance of a range of customer websitesIn early 2011 I was approached by the Managing Director of Connexion PR and tasked with recruiting and leading a revitalised design team. In my contract role as Head of Design, I undertook the process of recruiting two new staff members, and assumed full responsibility for managing and training the design team, ensuring that all established processes and design methodologies were adhered to, during a hand-over period of approximately six months.
