I coordinated and managed television and radio premiums for the development department of the Community Idea Stations, Central Virginia’s Public Broadcasting Corporation.As Volunteer Coordinator, I managed the Community Idea Stations volunteer program. I coordinated volunteer opportunities in conjunction with the needs of all departments, recruited, assigned and trained volunteers. I maintained budgets, an on-line calendar and time sheets for the volunteer and premium programs during our fundraising campaigns and coordinated programs for stewarding volunteers to ensure a meaningful experience. I was successful in identifying an untapped market by tailoring a premium specifically for the Northern Neck area thus bringing in new revenue and contact between WCVE and new members.
