I am an experienced and multi-disciplined lead designer and developer with over 17 years as a freelance practitioner and 11 years in further and higher education. Previously as a qualified lecturer/course manager, I specialised in interactive media and music technology. I would describe myself as hard working, reliable and versatile with a personable attitude. Although goal driven, I enjoy the learning curve that new projects bring and the opportunity to be creative and innovative where possible. My versatility allows me to work flexibly within a team, independently or in a managerial position. I add value to projects in terms of planning and implementation, creative solutions, design and development and problem solving.My skill-set is best defined as multimedia and online/elearning design which encompasses the production of visuals, audio and online learning technologies. As an instructional designer, I have worked with subject matter experts to design online courses at Bachelors and Masters level in business-based subjects such as business strategy, supply chain management, marketing strategy and, asset pricing among others.I am constantly up-skilling within my fields of expertise to become a more versatile designer and educational specialist. Due to the nature of my past work, I have become well accustomed to learning on the job with regards to new technologies, processes and problem solving.
