Within the public sector domain, my expertise lies in providing strategic counsel on pivotal matters such as policy formulation, scheme guidelines, and strategic roadmaps on ecotourism and diverse sub-sectors, alongside spearheading program management frameworks and transaction advisory endeavors for a diverse clientele including central and state governments, as well as multilateral banks. During my tenure at EY, I undertook the responsibility of expanding the tourism practice within the Government & Public Sector (GPS) service line, aiming to achieve a predefined annual revenue targets through collaborative efforts with geographical teams. My role encompassed cultivating a robust project pipeline through engagement with existing and potential clients, as well as cross-service line and sectoral collaboration. Serving as an engagement manager across multiple projects, I meticulously oversaw engagement economics and margins, ensuring timely delivery to clients.As a seasoned tourism sector expert, I played a pivotal role in devising Go-to-Market strategies tailored to diverse client mandates, fostering continuous engagement with various agencies and stakeholders operating within the tourism ecosystem, while also representing the firm across various platforms. I had the privilege of mentoring and leading a team of 15-20 members with diverse backgrounds, fostering cohesion for effective client delivery.Prior to EY, I made significant contributions to transaction advisory projects at IL&FS, collaborating closely with various state governments to successfully close multiple tourism projects under PPP formats nationwide. My responsibilities included advising on tourism and PPP policies, crafting enabling frameworks to stimulate private sector investments. With private sector, I honed my skills in project financing, debt syndication, financial appraisals, and feasibility analysis, gaining invaluable insights into sector assessment, value analysis, and term-lending through banks and FIs.
