Projects:• Engineered structural concrete, steel, and connection designs for the parking deck and office building, with approximately 3,48,000 sq. ft. area for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta from the Design development phase to the construction administration phase.• Designed and drafted the 12 stories, 3,12,000 sq. ft, A-class office building over the 4-story parking deck on the intersection of 14th and spring street as per the guidelines of ACI 318-11 and IBC 2012.• Delivered structural engineering design for HKS. The structure is 14 story residential, to be constructed over 4 floors of the parking deck and with amenities like green terraces and rooftop bar.• Completed construction administration phase of the Georgia Tech Price Gilbert library.• Peer-reviewed a 108 acre under construction mid-rise condominium building, located at the intersection of 5th and Juniper, in Atlanta, midtown. Design tasks:• Designed various one-way reinforced concrete slabs, RC beams, post-tensioned slabs, PT beams, and basement walls for gravity and lateral loads using ADAPT RC/PT software.• Calculated wind load, component and cladding loads on the structures using wind load on structures software.• Analyzed and designed 2-way PT slab, flab slabs using RAM Concept and RAM structural system.• Reviewed and responded to several RFIs and shop drawings such as rebar layout, elevator hoist beam connection, screen wall connection details, concrete mix-design.• Carried out site visits to ensure structural integrity by verifying the rebar layouts. Further, drafted and submitted reports based on the findings of the visit.• Manage and coordinate with client, Architect, and MEP engineer and drafted requirements using Revit. Additional activities:• Attended various Lunch & Learn seminars on a variety of topics.• Actively participated in Concrete, Steel, and, Design & Analysis committee to optimize material use and include new trends of the construction world.
