Starting his career with Nielsen, he quickly ascended to the global executive leadership team, collaborating with a top-rated CEO and prestigious PE board members. He managed Nielsen's business across 18 countries and contributed to global strategy, leading acquisitions and growth initiatives that tripled the company's value in under a decade.In 2015, Piyush was recruited to Nielsen's U.S. headquarters to build an internal data & analytics function, supporting a transformative cultural and employee engagement initiative for 50,000 employees worldwide. Within a year, he developed a groundbreaking people analytics capability, dramatically improving employee engagement, skills planning, and talent acquisition aligned with corporate strategy.His success at Nielsen caught J&J's attention, leading to his 2017 recruitment to build a similar function for J&J's 140,000 global employees. His efforts generated tens of millions in P&L impact by enhancing hiring, retention, and career development through contemporary skills identification. Additionally, he led talent management for 20,000 corporate function employees and played a key role in the carve-out and public listing of J&J’s $15B consumer health business, Kenvue.In 2024, Piyush co-founded SkillsBridge.AI with two partners to pursue his passion for empowering people to upskill in the disruptive GenAI era.
