-Delivered technology to achieve groundbreaking performance to recognize spoken alphanumeric account number. Developed innovative utterance verification technology to improve performance of ASR systems when faced with language and acoustic variability. This work also resulted in business unit award, three patents, and my PhD thesis.-Key member of a companywide Common Open IP architecture team that defined multi-media server element. Developed product plans, specifications, and RFPs to integrate both in-house and vendor supported speech recognition across numerous platforms deployed over AT&T network.

•Team leader to design, develop and deliver a PC based software only Speech Recognition product (Watson for PC) with end-to-end responsibility for team ramp up and project execution.

•Led a team to design and bring to market a personal computer based Speech Recognition product. Responsible for core technology development, API SDK , product planning and definition targeting the PC sound card market. Delivered world’s first sub-word based continuous density HMM implementation on a Single DSP.

•Internship at the Murray Hill Bell Labs Research laboratory to transfer speech recognition research into interactive voice response products and services This work resulted in the deployment of the voice recognition call processing (VRCP) service to automate ~1.2B operated assisted calls per year and yield $360 M a year in cost savings.•Developed new algorithms for rejection of out of vocabulary words, keyword spotting and robust speech recognition. •Architected, designed and developed platform software to facilitate data transmission and application management for world's first 10K line call center platform to deploy a Voice Response Campaigning applications and related Administration system.
