Resident Firefighters respond to a variety of calls including- Rescues- Structure fires- Motor vehicle accidents- Wildland fires The program is designed so that a two year commitment should allow the firefighter to achieve a variety of certifications including Colorado (IFSAC) Firefighter 1, Hazmat, Firefighter 2, Driver/ Operator Utility, and a NWCG Firefighter Type 2 and 1. Many other classes are available including water rescue, NWCG classes, and officer development classes. Residents have the opportunity to advance and run auto aid calls with mutual aid agencies.
