My name is PJ Tanner and I am a finance major with an economics minor in the Farmer School of Business at Miami University. I am seeking internship opportunities in any region of the country to grow as a finance professional. In 2022, I founded, and have since successfully run a car detailing business, St. Clair Car Care. SCCC has served over 150 clients in the south hills of Pittsburgh, and has grossed more than $25,000 in revenue.My academic experiences have taught me to work effectively in Excel, oral and written communication, and creative thought processes. I have also learned the study of economics on a micro and macro level, and business calculus. Whilst learning and experiencing so much as a freshman in college, I have earned a 3.93 GPA.My professional experience as a business owner has given me an invaluable entry into the world of business. By leading multiple employees, I grew more responsible, and became a great teammate. By managing marketing and scheduling, I learned how to deal with clients in a professional and persuasive manner, while also strengthening time management skills. By facing problems such as weather, equipment failure, and delinquent debt, I learned how to solve problems and think creatively.
