Results-driven Cloud Architect and Platform Tech Lead with over 11 years of experience designing, building, and automating cloud infrastructure and platforms. Skilled in Orchestration engines like Kubernetes, IaC tools like Terraform, Crossplane, CI/CD tools like ArgoCD, Languages GoLang, Bash, Python, building k8s native operators in Golang etc.., and other technologies to develop robust and scalable cloud solutions and internal developer platforms.Currently leading cloud platform team at DataStax, where I helped get Astra DB PCI certified, helped release Vector Search DB (mainly handled the infrastructure and API orchestration aspects), and reduced cloud costs through optimization. Since I joined we grew the Platform team into Production Engineering and Core Platform teams, I played a key role in hiring and onboarding the team members. Also worked on projects to improve the current IaC written in Terraform using Terragrunt. Presently, helping build/improve Internal Developer Platform (IDP) to allow database team manage the customer databases infrastructure onto AWS/GCP/Azure public clouds using k8s native operators.Previously architected multi-tenant platforms at TIBCO (infrastructure and monetization), developing operators, integrating AWS/Azure, and solving scalability issues. This enabled TIBCO to onboard the monolithic products onto cloud such that product teams kept their focus on containerizing the product and our team helped them expose as cloud services.Passionate about mentoring and training colleagues to adopt cloud-native practices.
