Paul Anninos is the Vice President of Environment and Natural Resources at Abt Global, an employee-owned global research, analytics, and consulting firm. In this position, Paul is in the customer-facing line operations with responsibility for program delivery and growth of Abt’s Environment, Natural Resources, and Climate line of business (Domestic/US). Paul took over this role in 2018 but prior to that, he was the Vice President of the Global Business Development Unit at Abt Associates for 2 years. He helped to establish client account leadership programs and implementing a results-driven, firm-wide business development life cycle approach supporting growth and and mission impact goalsBefore joining Abt Associates, Paul was the Vice President and Chief Growth Officer REI Systems for 7 years. At REI Systems, Paul supported rapid and sustainable business expansion from $30 to $90M, helping the firm successfully exit the small business/8a program and successfully compete in the full and open environment. Prior to this, was a Senior Vice President at ICF International leading at the program, practice, business unit, and Division levels. He helped launch the firm's information technology consulting business. He aided in establishing a corporate business development organization and serving as a member of the management team driving growth to $700M, ultimately leading to an extremely successful IPO.Paul 's career started as a marine scientist and spent the over a decade as a public servant, working at local, state, and goverment levels. He made a successful transition from public service to an energetic business leader in the private sector. He is a hands-on leader and player-coach supporting organizational development, major change and transformation initiatives, and sustainable growth practices.
