Public Health Intelligence lead for Wakefield Council. Responsible for the strategic direction of the Public Health Intelligence team, ensuring that the Public Health department is taking data driven decisions and evaluating it's commissioned services and health interventions effectively. Responsible for the detailed analysis of complex health data, identifying patterns, trends, and disparities to inform evidence-based decision-making and policy formulation. Conducted several successful intervention evaluation pieces, including the multi-facetted evaluation of the Care Home Vanguard programme delivered in Wakefield. Played a pivotal role in providing data and intelligence to the Public Health Department during the Covid-19 pandemic. This included being responsible for the design and implementation of the local contact tracing data collection and reporting system, as well as the data collection and monitoring system for the Covid-19 vaccination programme for all social care workers within the district.Responsible for the management of several key Public Health datasets within the SQL server data warehouse.Designed and published several key Joint Strategic Needs Assessment products, including the Neighbourhood profiles and the Smoking health needs assessment, both using Tableau software.
