Designing Tooling for progressive, single hit stamping dies, maintaining, managing prints and layout using QAD, ordering special tooling, coordinating projects from design to production, working on continuous improvements and upgrades to equipment, supporting manufacturing floor with respect to trouble shooting. Designing of automatic cam driven sorting machines. Secondary duties include Scripting to automate Pro-Engineer 3D cad package, Excel worksheets, automatic BOM to Business Process Management system (QAD) and the creation and management of a homemade explorer Cad Viewer for individuals without a cad system in the company

Duties include setting up 50-ton presses with single hit and progressive dies. Responsible for setting shut heights, adjusting feed, air timing, pulling dies, replacing tools, trouble shooting, loading wire, minor maintenance, tuning bowls feeders, ordering and managing tooling inventory, running experimental tooling and training new personnel. Duties include setting up Seven Turret Cincinnati CNC drill press. Responsible for loading programs into the machine, setting x, y, and z offsets, setting up tools as needed for the operations, knolling tools as requested among programs, checking jobs for tolerances quality, and troubleshooting.
