As a public safety officer at Roanoke Regional Airport, I protect the lives and property of the airport community and travelers. I respond to fire, medical, and security emergencies, and perform fire prevention and inspection duties. I also collaborate with other local and federal agencies to ensure the safety and security of the airport operations and facilities.I have been a volunteer firefighter since 2016, and I currently serve as the assistant chief of the Back Creek Volunteer Fire Department. I lead and train a team of dedicated volunteers, and I have contributed to multiple fire suppression and rescue operations. I hold the certifications of Firefighter I and II, and Fire Instructor I from the Virginia Department of Fire Programs. I am passionate about serving my community and enhancing my skills in the fire service.
