The company’s product was a hardware device that enhanced the delivery of common faxes and enabled normal fax machines to send faxes via the Internet. The device acted as a small computer, with its own OS and embedded software.* Was responsible for testing, maintaining, and upgrading the software running on the company’s beta products.* Created a Windows 95/NT application (using Borland C++ Builder) to enable the viewing of faxes that had been delivered to a user via email.* Investigated various competing technologies and reported results to VP of Research & Development.* Installed and maintained two Linux servers (one residing on a laptop computer) to facilitate the download of new software revisions to Netfax devices. Also installed and configured various NT Server/Workstation and Windows 95 machines for various needs.* Was involved in presentations to potential customers.
