I have 12 years’ experience as a member of the senior management team of a $100M+ P/A turnover high-tech manufacturing, development and support organization with global distribution. My main roles have included SVP and VP of R&D, reporting directly to the CEO. With global responsibility for product development, I have been a key driver behind the company’s continued successful position as market leader. I oversaw and was accountable for the successful launch of over 50 distinct products. Together these have generated revenues in excess of $1.5B. I have a track record of not only launching products ahead of competitors’, but launching more innovative, higher quality and lower priced solutions. Overwhelmingly these products have reached global market leading positions with highly attractive business cases. I am always focused on the business as a whole and combine my strong technical knowledge with customer and manufacturing insight to influence the company’s strategy and way of doing business and ethos. As head of R&D in a USD multi-million turnover organization I provided my leadership through my management reports. I have an ability to identify potential upcoming issues both through hard facts and by using my interpersonal skills at all levels in the organization. As a person I am very ambitious towards company goals and have high standards of personal integrity. I am almost always positive and smiling – even when things get challenging, but I am also known as being able to take tough decisions when necessary.
