Doctoral student in accounting at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Former research assistant and Lab Manager of the Behavioral Research Insights Through Experiments (BRITE) Lab at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. I taught three semesters of Intro to Financial Accounting and one semester of undergraduate auditing and assurance services. My research interests include exploring micro- (e.g., psychology-based experiments on auditor judgment and decision making) and macro-level (e.g., market-based economics experiments) methods of improving audit quality.

As an audit associate in the Washington DC Federal Practice I participated on federal and commercial audits as well as an attestation engagement. Most of my work entailed performing test work in accordance with accounting standards.

I only worked summer and winter breaks at INOVA Loudoun Hospital, as I was a full-time student at Virginia Tech during this time. I was responsible for collections and resolving issues with patients' accounts for commercial insurance, medicare, medicaid, worker's comp claims, etc. I also dealt with accounting issues such as resolving credit balances, accounts receivable aging analysis, etc.
