Interim Director (8/2023-3/2024)Function as the interim lead executive for the Workforce Council, a non-profit organization, providing the vision, oversight, and support to the OhioMeansJobs (OMJ) public workforce system in Cincinnati-Hamilton County Organize and support the Workforce Council’s diverse board of directors consisting of regional leaders from business, education, organized labor, non-profit, and government. Oversee and implement the local area’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and collaborate with regional workforce partners to help strengthen the Tristate’s workforce ecosystem. Facilitate key Board responsibilities, operations, and code of regulations.Sr. Program ManagerProvide leadership and operational support to the Workforce Council of Southwest Ohio through program supervision, implementation, administrative oversight, board/committee support, data analytics/labor market intelligence, provider communication/oversight, workforce innovations, and continuous quality improvement. Supervise staff including Program Managers and Contracted Consultants. Human Resource responsibilities including recruiting.Provide administrative oversight and technical support to staff, contractors, and partners to help achieve the goals set forth by funders/grants and the Workforce Council Board of Directors. Pursue and identify private and public grant opportunities from local, regional, state, and national entities to help enhance the regional workforce system. Partner with local employers, educational providers, workforce entities, and other relevant organizations in collaborative grant/project opportunities.
