This included work flow redesign for lean operations. I Led a successful launch of a new electronic medical record and practice management system with remote connectivity for ambulatory doctors as well as traditional in-room medical management. Pilchuck Veterinary hospital has been serving northwest Washington since 1963, and is now one of the largest multi-species veterinary practices in the United States. AAHA accredited, Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital has 26 doctors, and an extensive support staff that provide 24-hour emergency and critical care for large and small animals.

I owned the specimen collection and transport process and directed all field operations for this $400mm division of Quest Diagnostics, comprised of 365 staffed locations in five states. Responsible for improving quality, reducing errors, clinical lab management duties and meeting expense goals. Notable achievements in quality management, merging services, rationalizing the management structure, logistics efficiency, consolidating retail locations, project management and execution, improving the phlebotomy error rate, reducing rejects and error rates and reducing OSHA recordable injuries.
