As a Business Intelligence Consultant, working on a large BI & Analytics solution implementation for Utility One Source, an industry-leading equipment provider that distributes and rents construction equipment, utility fleet, and forestry equipment in the United States.Responsible for building KPIs such as Margin, Cogs, Rate as % OEC, Utilization, Budget, Disposals, Additions, etc. for the Customer Analytics team by developing Rental, Repair Order, Equipment and General Ledger Datamarts and performing following jobs functions: • Assess and obtain an understanding of business requirements outlined in report specifications and from this, design new table structures and develop new stored procedures and reports• Model data appropriately in Power BI to meet the business requirements• Design and develop new Power BI reports/reporting interfaces to build reporting solution flexible enough to meet current and future business needs• Create new SSIS packages to process data imports and data pushes• Perform thorough unit tests on new reports and report changes, checking data accuracy and assessing that report functionality and design meet the report specifications• Utilize SQL skills to investigate and resolve any report or data errors• Utilize SQL skills to assist colleagues with adhoc requests for data and information
