I set up and run (now with a bunch of others) the AWS user group in the North: www.meetup.com/AWS-User-Group-North/. We've around 1730 members to date (August 2019) continue to grow quickly, and meet every couple of months or so. Recent meetups have been on AI, serverless and containers.
