NorthStar Transitions takes an experiential, integrative and individualized approach to give our clients and their families the resources and direction for long term recovery. We believe in customized co-occurring, addiction, trauma and community based treatment to provide the tools for sustainable recovery. Our substance abuse rehabilitation program assists men and women ages 18 and up with drug addiction and alcohol dependency by working one on one with a master's level therapist, board of addictions certified psychiatrist, as well as a recovery coach/case manager. While gaining new tools for maintaining sobriety such as 12 step programs and outdoor activities, clients have access to multiple constructive forms of evidence based solutions at all levels of care including: Residential Detox, Inpatient, PHP, IOP and OP programs during their recovery in Boulder, Colorado. The position of Operations Director includes but is not limited to the following: Managing day to day operations, oversight of Residential and Outpatient facilities, direct contact with Clinical Directors and staff, oversight of contractor agreements and relationships, fostering community partnerships, overall program development, supervising recovery coaches/case managers as well as administrative staff, logistic and administrative implementation, interface with admissions and marketing, UA lab interfacing, and supervision of sober living community. Operations Director is responsible for oversight of State licensure and The Joint Commission Accreditation.

The position of Program Coordinator includes but is not limited to the following: Coordinating day to day operations, direct contact with Clinical Director regarding client cases, communication with client families, overseeing each individual client's program and progress, supervising recovery coaches/case managers, logistic and administrative enforcement and implementation, coordination with medical director, clinicians, admissions and marketing, UA interfacing and supervision of residential client housing.

The position of a Recovery Coach includes but is not limited to the following: Job coaching, educational coaching and enrollment assistance, introduction to recovery communities, case management, monitoring sobriety, facilitating group activities such as hikes, yoga, ski trips and much more.Together, both client and recovery coach develop an individualized program specific to identified goals while receiving treatment at NorthStar. A needs assessment is created within the first week of treatment that will outline to courses of action to be taken during the client's time in the program. This unique roll provides the client with hands on assistance out in the community and serves to help build a sustainable plan for long term recovery.
