August 2012 - September 2013: Managed the design and permitting of the Carlsbad desalination plant. Coordinated all design disciplines (including Israel and Australia based design firms) to meet design schedule, select and optimize design systems, and meet project scope/requirements. Acted as liaison between the project's many participants and the client.October 2013 - December 2015: Managed construction of the Carlsbad desalination plant. Estimated, planned and tracked over 6,500 CY of concrete work, 1,500 TNS of structural steel fabrication and erection and the installation of over 100 pieces of equipment including vertical and horizontal pumps, reverse osmosis vessel skids, micronic filtration housings, media filtration systems, FRP and steel tanks. Additionally managed, supervised and coordinated various contracts, subcontracts and subcontractors involved in the project.

Design intern under the supervision of Sr Structural Engineer and Sr Geotechnical Engineer. Aided in design, field soil data analysis, and Microstation drafting of Perris dam retrofit. Aided in SAP2000 structural design and Microstation drafting of state bridge over California aqueduct. Conducted soils and concrete lab testing.

Led supplementary civil engineering classes - mechanics of materials, statics, structural analysis - for 15-25 students twice a week.
