As a Graduate Student Researcher at UC San Diego, I am passionate about advancing the field of optical engineering and developing novel applications of coherent photonic systems. I have a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC San Diego, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. I have over 6 years of research experience in optical design and simulation, and I have published papers in prestigious journals on universal photonics tomography and optofluidic components. I have also completed a summer internship at Velodyne Lidar, where I applied my skills in optical components, optical design, and computer simulations to improve the performance and reliability of their LiDAR products. My core competencies include optical engineering, coherent photonic systems, optical coherence tomography, light detection and ranging, optical design and simulation, and optofluidics. My goal is to contribute to the innovation and advancement of optical engineering and its applications in various domains, such as biomedical imaging, remote sensing, and autonomous driving.
