I am a current full-time student in an integrated sciences program; my focuses are on immunology and physiology. I am passionate in the life sciences and exercise sciences field, and am hoping to pursue a path in medicine following my undergraduate studies. I am entering my 4th and final planned year of my degree. I have so far completed courses such as MICB302 and MICB306 for a foundation in immunology and virology, as well as CAPS301 and CAPS391 for an introduction in human physiology and anatomy. Additionally, MICB306 has proved valuable in applying research and analytical skills in the scientific field.My cumulative average at UBC is currently 80.4%. I am hoping to gain more relevant experience, whether it be volunteer, research, or teaching experience.

UBC is home to two separate public fitness centres, with ample amounts of weights and cardio machines, of which I attended to both. My primary responsibility involved a large amount of interpersonal communication, welcoming customers into our fitness centres as this environment is nerve racking for many. Additionally, I attended to maintenance of our equipment and policy enforcement, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all of our members. I was also the designated first aid respondent on site and responsible for evacuating the given facility I was attending for whatever reason needed.
