My motivation is innovation for the future of energy Solid and sustainable energy supply is the basis for all our activities today and in the future. A dedication to #GreenEnergy and sustainable #PowerSystems drives my research and the development of tools and methods for better energy systems monitoring, control and protection. I am passionate about educating the new generation of engineers and managers who will help make the society ready for the next industrial revolution. My vision is shaped by extensive experience in the academia, international collaborations and practical applications of my research into the businness and industries. My person and experience:Prof. Dr. -Ing. habil. Przemyslaw Komarnicki earned a dual Master’s of Science from Wroclaw University of Technology in Poland and Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg in Germany in 2004. Since 2004, he has been a research manager, since 2008, the Electric System and Infrastructure Group Manager and since 2017 a Head of Energy System and Infrastructures Department of Fraunhofer IFF in Magdeburg, Germany. Parallel to his work, he earned his doctorate from the Chair of Electric Power Networks and Renewable Energy Sources at Otto von Guericke University in 2008. His special fields of interest include energy system monitoring, control and protection. He is a member of the different national and international organisations (VDE, DKE, CIGRE, IEEE, EU). Since March 2018 he is taking up the position of Professor of Electric Power Systems Engineering at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences and and he is a Visiting Professor at Politechnika Wroclawska, Poland since October 2021.In 2023 he finished his PD (habil.) at Politechnika Wroclawska, Poland in area of energy storage.He is author and co-author for more than 140 publications in national and international conferences and different books.
