Team is responsible for informal and formal DO-178B requirements and coverage activities and reports.Co-owner of Systems and Software Verification engineering processes between two engineering locations. Objective is to harmonize engineering processes across engineering to further technical excellence, quality and effective product development.Co-chairman of a RTCA (Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics) Special Committee SC-213 establishing industry wide requirements for EFVS/SVS (Enhanced Flight Vision System/Synthetic Vision System) technologies. Committee includes domestic and international representatives from OEMs, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and manufacturers.Program management of large OEM subcontract program. Includes full product lifecycle development from SOW (Statement of Work) to certification. Co-inventor on various Synthetic Vision, Display and TAWS avionics product patents.Co-authored and presented SAE paper “Vision 1 Synthetic Vision System” at Seattle SAE conference, September 2001. Published as “Universal Avionics Provides Vision” in Aerospace Engineering, January 2002 and online at www.sae.org.
