I’m the the eyes and ears of Hawaii New Now’s viewers. I work with reporters and producers to capture and edit stories on daily deadlines for HNN’s large television and web audience. I cover breaking news such as hurricanes and volcanic eruptions. I have also chronicled such historical events as: The Canonization of Mother Marianne Cope in Rome, the late Senator Daniel Inouye’s funeral on Capitol Hill and his Metal of Honor ceremony in the White House East Room.My other responsibility is operating live equipment such as microwave, satellite and cellular bonding devices like LiveU which provide live TV reports from virtually any location with cell signal.

I provide freelance services to many clients in Hawaii and abroad. Many of my services includes camera, lighting, grip, editing, satellite uplink, consulting for building video facilities or projects. Many clients included several small films in Los Angeles and Hawaii. My clients are Liquid Planet Studios, A2Media and many others. Notably, I work with Yellowbird studios which services their clients such as CNN, Fox News, NBC News, CBS News and many others including international TV networks.On the side I photograph landscape, seascape, and astrophotography around Hawaii. My photos are sold on my website and at Pictures Plus stores around Hawaii.

I helped develop the technology infrastructure for Moanalua High's media program. I advise and help students with video projects from conception to distribution. I also maintain their equipment such as: camera, tripod, lights, computers, network, or whatever challenges come. Students learn a few skills from my experiences and end up winning national competitions on their own.
