I fell in love with ASL during my sophomore year of high school and have been enamored by it ever since. I have been studying American sign language formally for seven years. I have logged over 500 hours of interpreting work, workshops, and socialization in local deaf communities since 2020 and passed my EIPA in May 2022. Currently, I work as a freelance interpreter for an agency and interpret for various schools in a handful of counties in and around North Carolina. I also work part-time in the athletics department of my university as an intern. I run social media accounts and help run game-day operations, and I love the opportunity to serve the student-athletes at my school. A little about me, I played four years of collegiate soccer and was the captain for the last three years. I will graduate summa cum laude in May 2023 with a degree in Deaf Studies and minors in children's ministry and Non-profit business management. I have three rescue dogs whom I love very much, and I foster dogs from a local animal rescue. I am a proud member of Winston-Salem First Church and Deaf Light Ministries. I grew up a big outdoorsy lover, hoping to visit all 63 national parks someday, travel the world, see new cultures, and taste new foods!
