I taught Graphic Design and Typography to third year undergraduate students at the San Francisco State University School of Design.

As Sr. Art Director at Rally Health my primary responsibility is keeping the connective tissue healthy between my team of Designers and Copywriters and internal/external partners and stakeholders from creative discovery to final design implementation. This requires keeping an eye on big picture company goals while maintaining a keen attention to the details across my entire teams workload. We work on B2C and B2B projects that span across video production, out of home advertising, digital marketing, print collateral, promotional take-aways and large scale events and activations.

As Marketing Art Director of the creative department, my team and I supplied assets for digital, print, and video to be used across both B2C and B2B market channels. During this role I Art Directed on set video shoots, pitched and produced out-of-home advertising campaigns, collaborated with copywriters on video campaign concepts, designing event activations, promotional give-aways, a brand identity for the Rally Innovation Summit, and working alongside the entire marketing and creative departments to produce six Rally HealthFest events hosted by comedian and fitness fanatic Kevin Hart. These large scale, admission free events were successfully produced in Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City (twice), and Chicago.

As the design lead within the GoldieBlox marketing department, I managed all creative needs for the sales and marketing teams. This encompassed projects ranging from printed catalogs to a complete redesign of the company’s e-commerce website, to art directing all lifestyle and product photography. As the company grew, I hired and supervised a team of Graphic Designers, Design Interns, contract Photographers and freelance Production Artists. I had the opportunity to work on the formation of the company’s brand guidelines, numerous POP product displays, and multiple trade show booths including one for the 2015 NYC Toy Fair that was featured on The Today Show. That year my team and I were honored with the opportunity to have a float in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (2014–2016) as well as accepting a much revered Toy of the Year award (2014) and a Parents Choice Award (2015), both for packaging and toys we had designed and developed as a team.

Projects ranged from brand identities, logo marks, advertising, social media marketing, landing pages, web & app icons, vector illustration, printed collateral, custom lettering, apparel and retail store displays. A few clients I worked with were: Landor, Geometry Global, Bucktrout Creative, Holografik, GoldieBlox, Zozi.com, Square State Skate, The Roxie Theatre, Ethan Indorf and Lowcard Magazine to name a few.

Supported all brand marketing for Electronic Arts (EA) in Redwood City, California. I worked on print advertisements, icons, web assets, environmental signage inside of EA headquarters, custom lettering, recruitment collateral, and an identity for a global hackathon titled Code Wars.

At Mekanism I had the opportunity to work as Art Director on two 30-second advertisements for Pepsi soft drinks and a General Electric commercials. On these two projects I was in charge of designing and constructing the backgrounds, sets and props. I worked closely with directors Adam Avilla and Tony Benna on numerous projects while working with Mekanism. I have also created visuals for pitch videos and presentations for the NFL, Home Depot, YouTube, Art.com, Method Soap and Clinique.
