My entrepreneurial drive was inherited from my dad, George Langhorst. He owned a small car repair shop in St. Louis. It was not much, but he controlled his destiny and served his customers the way he wanted - and they loved him.In my early career I worked in various sales, marketing and telecom management positions. In 2002 I co-founded GroupCast/SchoolReach, a mass alerts and notification company. We grew SchoolReach into a multi-million dollar business with over 55 employees and market leading positions in several K-12 segments – and our customers loved us. In 2014, we sold to SchoolMessenger (West Corp), a very rewarding and exciting process!In October 2017 I became an investor and adviser to SchoolTube, a K-12 focused company that provides a safe-search environment for student and school created video content.I love cooking for my family, fishing, boating, classic cars and would really really like to be better at golf - but that so far has eluded me!
