I work across departments and with different state and federal agencies to help mitigate the effects of climate change on city systems.

I work on long term resiliency goals for city-wide programs. Projects focus on energy security, climate change adaptation, community preparedness, sustainability, strengthening urban ecology, flood resistant urban design, and transit security. Interesting current projects include implementation of the "Resist, Delay, Store, Discharge" Comprehensive Urban Water Management Strategy, and the development of a municipal micro-grid in collaboration with Sandia National Laboratories.Additional responsibilities include the development implementation of planning projects for the Department of Transportation & Parking. This includes the production of maps, documents and graphics using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and ARCGIS 10.2. Mayoral Designee; Planning Board Commissioner, January 2015 - present.

Assist MS Sustainable Architecture Program Director Hillary Brown in coordination of assignments, organization of curriculum, management of student projects and student advisement.

Implemented goals related to social, ecological, and economic sustainability. Primary tasks were related to the review, advisement and coordination of Town of Malta Planning Board. Additional responsibilities include: GIS mapping & data management, NYS Environmental Review, regulatory agency coordination, grant acquisition and management, storm water management, preparation and implementation of planning and zoning policies.
