I am currently the Managing Director of a recently incorporated social enterprise, called PLATFORM NETWORK. Our Vision is to facilitate a process for individuals from multiple deprived & disadvantaged backgrounds to access a collection of tools that will empower them to navigate a successful future. I am talented and multi-skilled and in this complex business environment that we currently experience, where things are not just cut and dry, I see my diversity and flexibility as an asset to our organisation. I worked with youth in inner city's as well as youth from disadvantaged backgrounds and areas in South Africa throughout my adult years and obtained a certificate in Community work during this time. After High school I trained as an architectural designer in South Africa, then utilised my knowledge to buy, restore and sell property as well as create, together with my husband our own property portfolio in South Africa. I also owned and managed a mortgage advisory agency in South Africa and later achieved my international certification as a Career, Life & Business Coach and the skills I acquired together with my experience has afforded me an emotional and mental capability to successfully manage teams of people and to facilitate the completion of projects. I was trained to develop business strategy and a range of assessments for strategic placement of staff according to their abilities and strengths. I am passionate about people and strive to encourage them to find and operate in their place of strength. At the end of the day, I realised that I am a true "entepenuer" and I manage to see the potential within anything and anyone. The 3 greatest loves of my life are My Family, Singing & Travel.
