Andrew is particularly interested in information literacy, the use of active learning within library sessions, Game Based Learning, playful learning, playful leadership, playfulness, gamification, and creative teaching.He runs workshops on play, playful learning, creative teaching approaches, playful leadership, and neurodiversity in the workplace.He publishes widely in journals, has authored or edited seven books along with numerous book chapters, and delivers keynote talks and a range of workshops internationally.Andrew is the founding editor of the peer-reviewed Journal of Play in Adulthood, a diamond Open Access journal.Andrew is a National Teaching Fellow, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Chartered Manager, and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce. He co-chairs NLISN, a network for Neurodivergent library and information workers.
