Itrequires highly skilled and qualified affiliate** staff using techniques such as the life book,timelines, genograms, and support via individual intervention and/or preparation groups. It isused in hopes of preventing placement disruption and reducing the time to reach thepermanency goal or finalization.The Pennsylvania Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network (SWAN) is a unique model of public-private collaboration whose role is to address barriers to permanency for children and to respond to the increased numbers of children needing adoption services. SWAN involves state, county and private agencies coordinating the delivery of permanency-related services for children and post-permanency services to families via a state contract administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services.

I completed over 25 complete batteries using the following measures: Rorschach, Thematic Apperception Test, WISC-IV, WAIS-IV and other qualitative measures. I also consulted psychiatrists and was supervised by Dr. Debra Resnick. -

I served as an individual Play Therapist working with children from ages 3-5. My supervisors were Dr. Kathy Sacks and Robin Pearle. I was supervised in both non-directive (child-centered) play therapy as well as more directive approaches. I had my first experiences with Filial Play Therapy, Family Therapy and Theraplay. This experience was both challenging and extremely rewarding .
