But I loved art.I was a poet and author but that wasn't ambitious enough for people so I got linkedin. I then became a miserable poet and author. I was also;An almost stand up comedian and writer of sketch shows that were never made (Think Chris Morris)An author and poet who finished a book that claimed we lived in a simulation in 2018A writer of essays which were online under pen names I never even told my friends aboutI believed my generation was brought up on a culture of disposable things, in a world where overpopulation had a new meaning, that there wasn't enough purpose for everyone. Half of us just existedThe other half were allowed to actually liveThe trick was working out which one you were becomingI had no interest in belittling struggling coworkers to impress people or pretending that a company has a culture in order to hide that it was merely a cult. I wanted to teach. Through understanding we can foster compassion in people. That is the goal of education, to bring everyone to the same level of intelligence and morality. The world would be better if more of us were learners. A cave can echo the maddening screams of your boss, but only a human can question them.
