Helping others to learn is one of my passions. Whether learning takes place in a formal classroom, during a conversation, or through the written word; I love to see a person experience that "Ah Ha!" moment. Throughout my career, facilitating learning has been crucial. Whether helping a soldier learn how to write a resume or providing young parents with child development information, I use a strength-based approach to aid in the learning process.I don't fear technology. Whether sending out a few emails, entering information into a data base or using social media, I recognize the importance of technology in daily life. I learn new software programs quickly and speak “Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.” I have nearly two decades of professional experience working in human services, education and career services.
