I am an Accountant with more than ten years of accounting experience in accounts payable, reconciliation of bank and balance sheet accounts. At my last company I closed out the books on a monthly basis, entered and posted journal entries into general ledger, reconciled bank and balance sheet accounts, enter payables in computer system, and wrote checks for owner to sign when needed. I also created financial statements on a monthly basis, researched discrepancies to maintain accuracy of the accounting system, which included communicating with vendors inside and outside of the office to maintain accuracy of this information.
