As consultant, retained as personal advisor to large pharmaceutical company CEO and as acting COO for several biotech companies. Academic teaching at graduate level (MIT). Experience from most therapeutic modalities, including small molecules, peptides, biologics (especially monoclonal antibodies), gene and cell therapies (especially AAV) and RNA therapeutics. Experience in most therapeutic areas, including obesity, oncology, gastrointestinal (functional and IBD), infectious disease (including HCV and HBV), CNS & pain, ophthalmology, immunology including allergy & RA, cardiovascular and respiratory (including asthma). Experience managing biologics and gene therapy manufacturing, including AAV vectors. Recent experience in GLP-1, GIP, PYY, amylin and glucagon receptor agents for obesity and diabetes.Have managed 3 biotech companies as consultant COO/CEO.Have supported fundraising efforts in seed, series A and B, and Nasdaq listings and PIPEs.
