Plínio Silva de Garcia has consolidated experience in the tech market, leading strategic projects for information security and IT infrastructure. He worked in the energy, metallurgy, food, services, and telecommunications industries, where he was responsible for IT resources, people, and knowledge management. Today, he works as a university professor and a professional security, privacy, and compliance consultant.In the academic field, he holds a Ph.D. in administration (2020) from PUCRS Business School. In 2018, sponsored by CAPES, he worked as a visiting researcher at the Smith School of Business, Queens University, Canada, achieving an international scientific publication about barriers to knowledge sharing. He obtained his master's in 2016 from PUCRS Business School after presenting the results of his research about intentions to commit cybercrimes.
