Air battle managers are primarily responsible for command and control and, as their title implies, battle management. Their primary duty is to ensure the day-to-day air mission is executed. These duties depend on the overall military operation. For air-to-air engagement, using either airborne or land-based radars, ABMs ensure combat aircraft find, identify, and destroy their targets by providing the pilots with a "big picture" that increases their situational awareness.

My ability to accurately track and submit member decorations in a timely fashion aided the promotion of 25 Senior Airman to the rank of Staff Sergeant. My leadership and organizational skills aided in clearing out a backlog of 65 decorations that were critical for the career progression of airmen.
